Mary: "Well, frankly speaking, the mashed potato was greasy and the steak, tough."

Mary: "Not me. I never eat rich food."

Perguntas:

No texto acima, um vocabulário aparentemente fácil (comida, que é dado na parte básica de um curso de idiomas) é aqui mostrado cheio de palavras mais complicadas como mashed, greasy e rich.

Mary: "I'm sorry, John, but I have to stay home and wash the clothes."

Perguntas:
1 - Para que foi o convite ? (Obs - Não vincule "thriller" ao clipe do Michael Jackson)
2 - There's a better expression for "wash the clothes". What is it ?

Texto 3 (Este e o próximo, por falarem de esportes, podem ser úteis a quem fizer a prova da Uerj este fim de semana, durante a Copa do Mundo)
His service had been quick and accurate but the umpire told him to serve again and he was very angry.
